After reading Mark Dredge’s Beer and Food I was inspired to do a video review that includes putting one of his pairings to the test with two beers (Brewdog’s Electric India and Burning Sky Saison a la Provision) with a lamb wrap.
In this video I sample an American Pale Ale and The King’s Blockhouse IPA from Cape Town brewery Devil’s Peak. As well as bigging up two other Cape Town craft brewers Jack Black’s Brewing Co. and Cape Brewing Company.

Here’s a little video my missus shot of me sampling Portuguese Red Vinho Verde, sweet potato bread, sheep’s cheese and tomato chutney on sunny Madeira.
While on honeymoon in Madeira I drank some the local Coral lager. It happened to go very well with Matu mix snacky stuff.

I visited West Brewery in Glasgow to taste the beers and food of this little bit of Germany in Scotland.
This is a homage to the days of silent films, and came about because I forgot to turn my mike on.
I am tasting a 21 Year old Speyside Whisky Liqueur, 15 Year Old Bas Armagnac and a Salted Caramel Chocolate Brownie.
Last year I travelled to Slovenia a guest of P & F wineries to sample the wine and food of this much underrated wine producing country. This is the 2nd half of my time there where I visited P&F’s cellars in Ormoz & Ljutomer. Our farewell lunch was Gostilna Ribic in Slovenia’s oldest village Ptuj.
